Entrepreneur in the service industry for more than 10 years, Shawn Turcotte noticed, when he started in insurance in 2010, that there was a major slump in the field!

The damage insurance market in Quebec has a great need to reinvent itself in order to give clients the service they request, the one they deserve! In 2013, his innovative spirit was recognized by the entire industry and he was nominated by the RCCAQ (Regroupement des cabinets de courtage assurances du Québec) for the Distinction Relève award.

Then, in 2014, he left his position as Vice-President of Business Development at one of the largest insurance firms in Quebec to make his dream come true.

It was at this time that he founded OVC Insurance, a damage insurance brokerage firm that incessantly searches for a way to give more to its clients: better prices, a better selection of insurers, a faster and more personalized service.
